Is the plural of whiskey whiskey?
As the holder of Whiskeys I'm sure you need to know
There is Whisky and Whiskey. TYPICALLY and not always - Whisky is the premium kind (that is SCOTTISH! - sorry Irish/Americans/Rest of the world).
But it gets better:
Plural of Whisky is Whiskies.
Plurar of Whiskey is Whiskeys.
In other words. You hold the Plural for the Whiskey drink that is NOT made in Scotland. Truth is that about 5% of the world knows this level of detail so you're likely to pick up some of the alternate traffic also.
This doesn't change my opinion on Alcohols.
Though I did just realized in thinking this through that liquors is a valid of plural of liquor so apologies to the OP. It's an interesting case though because its not used frequently. It is really solely used in reference to multiple types of liquor.
Liquor refers to a quantity that is not finite bounded so acts as a plural in sense. (Same as beer, wine... you would say bring liquor.. you never say bring beers....). Technically liquors is a plural .. though I seldom here is used as such.. (I need to get out more)
Alcohols is still nonsense.
