i have a program called webstudio my question is if i build a site with it what hosting plan do i need a linux based server or windows.

Save yourself the time and money and learn xhtml and css or hire someone.

iv already made the site on it nothin fancy but am wonderin if its a linux based server or windows based host that i need.
even if i new xhtml would still wonder and have the same question.
even if i paid someone i would stil ask do i now need to get a linux or windows server to host the site.?
its really only one page detailing all my domain names

Well if it is strictly html, then you can choose to host it on either. I started hosting with Windows in the late '90s but then made the switch to Linux and Apache and don't plan on going back.

either way it doesn't matter, what you can do on linux server you can pretty much do on a windows one.
