you could try here at namepros or eBay the trouble with Linux domains IMO is that they would be to monetize

Yes that is very true, and also to make forum websites like you said. But i have no idea what they would be worth for example linuxbymail.org maybe worth something to a Linux company that sends there distros by post.
1stoplinux.com an online store that resells boxed distros or enterprise linux downloads.

I guess your right. To most people they would be no value, other then secondary domains for Linux portals wanting extra search engine hits (maybe not sure).
What about paid domain parking has anyone here tried that? Would it be worth pay parking these domains. eg sedo.com. Or any others if you know of any.

same thing here. Even though some of them sound "nice", i personally think they're going to be hard to monetize....
