Linkpro.org and Google

Hi,

I recently got invited to this service called linkpro.org, you're supposed to give 5 outgoing links and in return get 5 incoming links, the thing is what does google think of these kind of services, is there a penalty or something?

Its mostly junk because everyone tries to give 5 spam links in hope of getting 5 good links in return. They all are smart Till they meet someone like them. So this place will be full of many smart people. :D

Do you really need such middleman service for 5 links? If you have normal site search a bit and you will easily find appropriate link partners without any schemes.

John is right. I have one domain that I never advertise and just put some articles in it (just one by month, when I was less lazy)and the last time I saw it have gained 150 backlinks from people that liked the articles So it is better to concentrate in good content
