Just picked this one up in auction. Thoughts on its value?

It's a strong keyword with good search volume, decent serp and advertisers. However I do see some mixed reseults, namely things like Library-Software or Library(word)Software. On a broader match, Library Inventory Software or Library Management Software. However this must have some popularity as net, org info us biz are all taken. Search trending shows no change in 6 months to volume so this is not a growing field but not declining either.

Is this name a reversal of its more common terms? LibrarySoftware shows 5x the search results, so it is also part of the problem. You would then have the second highest name for this word combo, not the first. How old is the domain? Appears to be about 3 years which doesnt add value.

My best guess is going to be a range, since I do not know much about this particular product market. End user could see high value with some good communication skills by the seller. By itself value would be at the very low end of the range. If this is market with product to sell, I would definitely go after the development route as that is what will drive value higher.

"Library Software" is a software niche (ie, software for library databases and other applications) like 'business software' or 'educational software'. Software Library has higher serp but to my knowledge doesn't have the same commercial potential. In fact, all the sponsored links for the latter are for "library software" sites.

How old is the domain? Appears to be about 3 years which doesnt add value.

First created in 1999 - so just over 9 years old.

My bad, definitely a '99 entity, so you can add another 10%-20% to the range of the estimate.

You are correct about serp for the two terms, my only question is why hasn't this resulted in more traffic to your site? I am seeing about 100 users per month which if you truly have the best generic, should be higher. Do you get more clicks? Any PPC income?
