Well, I have recently finished my WSET3 in wine (wine and spirit education trust). And as a coincidence, I am leaving tomorrow for a wine trip to Champagne. So I am all for some nice wine recommendations and vice versa.

I mean, it depends on the sake of course, but for that price you should be getting some rather decent ones. Premium stuff starts from approx 100 USD+.

I've never been a big drinker, even as a mid teen when everyone else my age was drowning in beer or liquor...my preferences were more for the herbal remedies. I learned early on that girls did not want to leave parties with drunks...however they were willing to get a ride from the 'happy' guy.

However, when I play golf or when gathering around my 'main' fire pit, I will have a beer or three. My body has been through a few issues and the only beer it can tolerate is Michelob Ultra Pure Gold. I highly recommend it for anyone that possesses a stomach that is picky/iffy. Prior to the switch, the ONLY beer I consumed was the ONLY beer to have earn a blue ribbon (that was my speech) which was/is PBR.

I do have preferences for a couple of liquors, but it has been a while since I've consumed any. I'll try to dig up my favorite Bloody Mary recipe from back in the day. If anyone has a recipe they like, post it here...I'll give it a try!
