I just saw a domain listed for sale with ".AG" extension ...is it good for future investment?
don't know anything about it but here is what a quick google search shows (the second link seems to have more useful info than the first)
Thanks for sharing this one.
also I'm in noway shape or form an experienced guy in this business but here is my advice for you
.com is king unless you are willing to outbound and have been doing it for a while
You are right..but I was checking few .de domains sold more than $10k...
There is no comparison between the two. .de is Germany. .ag is Antigua.
You are right but German speaking countries can take .ag domains. I got a domain with .ag (hello.ag).
doubt a company will pick up hello.ag check out the link for more information
Sure, anyone can buy a .ag domain. I’m speaking in terms of usage and valuation. Many countries, including Germany, value their own countries TLD as much, if not more than the .com equivalent.
@onni what about .de...anyone can buy .de domain? or some restriction for other countries?
@noneisnone this post published on 2019...so still same term and condition is there?
I believe you need an address in Germany. There are registrars that let you use their address as a “registered agent”. If you wanted a .de.
no personal experience with them but i doubt that they wouldn't update there terms and conditions if they changed it check https://www.denic.de/en/terms-an-conditions/ for more accurate information
EDIT1 : CHECK PM
I’m not suggesting you invest in .de or any other particular TLD. I just want to make sure you’re aware that there is a huge difference in valuations, from an investor standpoint, with country tlds.
I’ll give you an example:
kredit.cx can be registered now for $20
kredit.com sold for $52,161
kredit.de sold for $1,169,175
Separate names with a comma.
