This is the "Learn" name for what is by far the #1 most popular instrument in the world.. Estibot has a valuation appraisal of $120,000 and 70 advertisers for LearnGuitar dot-com.
"Learn Guitar" is one of the most popular search terms for the word "learn".. "Learn Spanish" is #1 , "Learn English" is #2, and "Learn Guitar" is not far behind of the top 5.
With the advent of the ever popular "Guitar Hero" video game series , I see huge possibilities with this one as more and more people are wanting to learn Real guitar.. Here is a link with GuitarInstructor dot com stating how many more people have started learning guitar lately (You can read it down lower in the article). Their very nice site just launched 6 months ago-

Moreover, LearnGuitar (.) net is a fully developed site with a major music outfit running it. According to compete, the .net received almost 4000 unique visitors for the month of April , and the .net received 9000 unique US visitors in February. This is according to compete
Also, abcLearnGuitar (.) com, according to compete, received 14,000 uniques for the month of December ((christmas season when people have more time off I suppose), and over 5000 uniques for the month of April.
They also have a forum on their site with over 5000 members.
Furthermore, LearnAndMasterGuitar (.) com received about 27,000 unique US visitors for the month of December, and about 10,000 visitors for April.. Again, it looks like for every such guitar learning site, they all had big spikes in December and January, so it must be the increased time off people have to learn guitar.
LearnClassicalGuitar dot com has averaged about 6000 to 7000 visitors per month over the past year, with a high of over 10,000 visitors for this past March.
Here is yet another of the many websites ( and publications) that have the "Learn" and Guitar" term as the main component of their name (business model , publication)- these guys have sold over 70,000 courses here-
