It's time to get an Official showcase and discussion thread going for the keyword Leaf.

I'll get things started by showing off my new .cx ::: Leaf.re ::::

What leaf's have you guys and gals invested in?
Any great leaf news that others should be aware of?
What are some (Verifiable) mind blowing leaf sales you've seen?
How much are you enjoying your new leaf?
Know of any developed leaf that look cool?

Cheers
Corey

I have 1000 :) Leaf Names only in 2 word seo based. Coms

I've taken alot of negative feedback for the vision on Leaf, but I held strong. Its brutal to let a Canna go to support my Leaf inventories, infact that's what I did.

I disappeared from this forum 9 months? for I didn't want to get down with opinions that was making me second guess. Not good, a artist never goes over a stroke of paint. They just don't. Hesitation is not healthy on a vision.I sell ideas that come with a domain.

Leafdomains.com

I did the site 18 months ago; haven't worked on it since. This just shows the confidence one needs in this industry. Were selling future ideas at the entry level of $8. Guess I was ahead of my time, and still am, but the time is coming closer, if not here. 2019 here.

The above being said the Leaf play is 2019 as permitts get issued, need less multi nationals and more localized startups to truly get the ball rolling on Leaf in my opinion.

Some of my inventory is further out; the market just isn't there yet. Putting any name on pet care is the long game for example or coffeeshops.

Leafpet
Leafvet
Leafveterniary

And it's two word SEO names all in .com that I focused on, some distraction on say a leaf drivethru three word, but I held to my self imposed rules. And No brandables, that I knew was a full time job to sell. Have a limited supply in regionals like Bostonleaf; and Leafboston. And a bunch of states on Leaf.

It was about a year ago, was watching CNN on the rollout of Nevada Cannabis.

Saw Nevadaleaf? I forget exactly; Big two tone green sign; beautiful sign with a thousand people lined up around the corner standing under it. I knew then. Folks that's a year ago almost. This is a long game on $8 ideas.

I also hold a top Trademarks with a Leaf brand ( spefic to cea ) that is rolling out nationwide in the Spring in the equipment sector. The brand is launching globally.

Can someone buy Leaf.com or get this advice to the money people. Talk about valuable.

Leaf, it will sit amongst the top tier alongside Canna.
I know I've thanked you, but I just want to thank you again for sharing so much valuable information about this industry, and in particular about "leaf". Here are a few of the "leaf" names you've inspired;

IncredibleLeaf
LeafBarn
LeafScents
LeafSpeculator
BackReleaf

As I've shared here on NamePros, I'm a business guy first, a marketer second, and a domainer a distant third. With little experience in actual domaining, Ive been blessed to be creative enough to come up with some pretty good names for my portfolio. I've also been blessed to be a pretty creative marketer where I've been recognized for my creativity, albeit in other industries.

At the end of the day, it's all about selling domains for a profit. I don't believe in luck, but I do believe in hard smart work that's served me well in life.

Thanks again Leafurl:)

Great job on the website, I enjoyed reading it and learned something about the .re extension today. Makes sense that real estate sales would be a natural fit. (y)

As far as some of the respondents go....

Personally, whenever I register in a niche domain category I prefer to put the niche first.

leafdomain.com as opposed to domainleaf.com

It seems to put more emphasis on niche that way. It's a personal opinion but having been in the niche business for many years (maples) I find myself hardly ever buying anything ending in maple anymore. I usually make exceptions if I can get a regional name like CanadaMaple or TorontoMaple but other than that I prefer MapleTravel over TravelMaple etc.

Sub the word leaf for my maple examples above.

@maple yeah I agree with you depending on wording in can work both ways but in general I concur .......like I have ThaCanadianpost.com and it jus wouldn’t work as the ThePostCanadian.com ......sorry to go off topic Corey ......damm I love your landers .

I did not even realize I was in this niche (of course I seldom know exactly what I am doing :xf.wink:), but I have
  • MapleLeaf(.)site
  • MapleLeaf(.)space
And here I thought the second name was for Canada's space activities or the Canadian real estate market!

I never thought of that, technically I have a lot of leafs but I don't think that is what @Corey had in mind when he opened the topic. :xf.laugh::xf.laugh::xf.laugh:

I like the names (too bad that I m not a end-user) and the fact, that you sure are not scared to dabble in the new extensions!

Would you remember the "reg" price and "renewal"?

Note: Improper pronoun @MapleDots , Corey is a "she" (to me that doesn't matter)

So it's a profitable domain. 🤗
Lol that’s the spirit!

Weed anything is a tough sell. I thought buying the .com was a slam dunk but so far it’s been a big miss.

With domains it’s important to keep moving. Sales now allow you to keep advancing.

That said, you should hodl with the right domains. Good luck!

I am not super afraid of some of the other extensions being in marketing and real estate because I have seen some big ones sell to tech companies. I picked up Leaf.Estate and Leaf.Site for our my real estate business. It has a .com to go with it. I went with things that made since like one day soon there will be a rapper named; MJ.Money 🤑🙏🏼😎 And, I may or may not keep Pot.Photos just as a photo blog or downloads for dispensaries to use in marketing as well depending on how I feel when renewals come around.
