If we do a little bit of research at NameBio.com we find that a few "law" domain names have done exceptionally well. Recently, InternetLawAttorney.com sold for $10,250.

All extensions are currently registered of LawFoum and "law forum" brings up almost 200 million google search results. LawForum.net being the 1st result - which would mean you should be doing not too shabby with traffic.

My opinion would be to sell the domain name or create an adsense site, you would probably do very well. Value on this domain name would easily exceed 5k. I could see this domain being sold for low xx,xxx.

But to be honest, I think developed this name would be fantastic!

Lawpal, I actually used another law website, www.LawGuru.com , and wound up hiring lawyer who replied to a question about a possible lawsuit I was considering. Just fyi, if you wanted to look at it, and get more ideas fro your forum.

Maybe you can sell it to them.

Your idea of setting up a law forum is certainly nice, but I do not recommend keeping that default php layout. I recommend customizing the look and feel and really puttinig work into developing the forum. Your logo for example is not that attractive. You need to give a law forum that proffesional law-like feel to it.

Sure a hot domain name like this will be receiving good type-in traffic, but even so marketing is helpful.

If you are dedicated to setting up a good law forum I would go with that option. However, if you are not going to be dedicated to setting up a good law forum I would consider parking this domain name and/or selling it.
My point is, don't just set a up a law forum for the sake of it.
Compare LawForum.net to the current state of your site, LawForum.com, and you should see what I mean.

Customized look and feel will come shortly. I am speaking with several developers now, and this is just a rough draft to get something up and running in the short term. Marketing will come thereafter.

Great domain and a keeper for sure. Development should be your course of action for this domain and only think of selling when fully developed and there is a lot of activity.

This domain could be a great lead generator for Lawyers and you could earn very well on PPC ads.
Because of the potential for Lawyers of all niches to receive leads from this website a annual membership fee should give you a good income of revenue as well.

The creation of various sections on the forum is important to create a user friendly and easy to navigate environment to deliver the audience what they want which is advice and legal help.

If i would be a Lawyer i would definitely want to be listed on LawForum.com by being a participating member or have a paid advertisement running in one of the appropriate sections.
