Not so much looking for site design review (currently using a design I scooped from OSWD) but a review of site functionality, navigation.

Also looking for suggestions re: site features that should be offered eg. 'subscribe to receive new submissions by email'.

For now, I can't really comment on your content, so I'll stick to the design. Before I do, remember to keep your content unique so your site will receive different traffic that will build up. Keep the site easy to navigate, and exercise the use of Meta Tags.

The logo/banner needs work. Obviously, it's just text, but having a professional and humourous banner would certainly be eye-catching. Try and think of some slogan to go with the site as well.

The grey menu on the right needs to be filled up. Maybe 'Most Popular' or 'Latest Additions' would be good. At the bottom of the menu, it overlaps the background. [http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/3317/1jq0.jpg]

On the catergory page, consider adding a 'Top Rated' catergory. Also, rename Misc. to Miscellaneous. On the registering page, can you remove the "..." and move the form over to the left? Again, the grey menu has stretched the page down [but has the Google Ads] Your print and e-mail functions don't work as of yet, but it would be good to see working soon.

At the bottom of each one-liner page, consider pagination. That is something like [1, 2, 3, ... 15] instead of the 'Next' and 'Last' tags to save time. A feature you might want to consider is a rating system of each quote. A simple 5 star and click without registering would be good.

And on a small note, get your site a favicon.
