Any thoughts on the general value of L-L domains?

Comparable to LLN for example?

Thanks!

L-L should be a lot higher.

probably higher I would think - plus there is always the chance that more endusers who's business can be represented by two letters would buy it at a helluva lot cheaper price than a LL.com would cost them. IMO

There are a lot less L-L domains than LLN domains. And L-L are more meaningful than most of the LLN names.

Check http://www.3character.com/priceguide.html
It depends on which extension you register.

I know that site is just a guide or whatever, but, for example, it says 3-letter .info is worth $80 but recently some 3 letter info sales were:

EAU.info - $1250

ALA.info - $195

JAI.info - $96

AOD.info - $170

DSY.info - $102

etc...

Now there were a lot that sold for $60 so that is failry accurate...

I guess my point is you can't simply place a ballpark on all 3 letter domains, obviouslty the actual letters make a huge difference...

as for the dashes the sales I see listed there are:

R-Q.net - $60
1-4.net - $80
G-E.net - $110
P-2.com - $160
P-6.com - $160
8-4.com - $120
Y-S.net - $90

etc...

And most of these are drops, so I guess it is hard to say what domainers are getting from end users on these, mostof the sales seem to go to other domainers...

Anyway, I guess the speculation drives the market on these types of domains for sure...

Hello All,

I guess it may not hurt to mention that the 3character.com pricing guide ONLY reflects "Minimum Wholesale Price." There are indeed MANY sales well above the price ranges, but it's really only possible to determine a minimum value for price guide purposes (based on recent sales data and market trends). Thus, the minimum wholesale price represents the lowest amount that any type of 3 character name (+extension) are going for at this time.

Thanks again and I hope this helps,
:) zesty
