Thanks to Afternic for a smooth transaction. I know this may not be news but I was impressed with their entire system. I have sold domains there before and have had a good experience but this was could have fallen apart but my escrow manager held it together and moved the ball forward.

And they released funds after maybe an hour of the buyer saying he got the domain.

So, just wanted to make it public.

Domains and some other internet ventures but sales is paying the bills this year. Seems to be coming in from all angles so it's not just my domains or marketing efforts although I suppose decent names across a diverse portfolio with some marketing does help sales.

Regarding Sedo vs Afternic. Afternic allows you to talk with the buyer via their email system similar to ebay. At Sedo you either accept the offer or counter offer. You cannot talk to the buyer and you can't even cancel the buyer's offer unless you post a counter offer.

So, Afternic is a better system for my business.
