Hello all,

Wondering what you guys think this domain could be worth if developed into a kubota tractor (very popular and reliable tractors) forum?

i think that is a good idea as the name has to be used in good faith and not for profit :)

On a related note I have a generic ccc dot com in a tractor model number matching one of theirs

Just to make sure I understand, you are saying that the domain can't be used to sell kubota products because it is using a trademarked name right? That is not to say I can't monetize the forum (if developed). nor does it mean I can't resell the domain once it appreciates in value.

Please refer to other similar trademarked domain boards and forums:

ZuneBoards was a registered trademark, and yet Microsoft did not sue the lad. The domain sold for quite abit.

you can sell it, but you cant develop into something that makes profit directly from their trademark.

No one would pay more than low xxx for it imo undeveloped

companies like it if you add a feature or benefit to their product - such as a forum.

after your forum gets more people and activity, you can contact them to make a commission off of sales from your site and / or a different agreement benefiting both of you.
