What would you put the value as?

I know the .us extension hurts, but the number of references are just HUGE, including one for KOTA-TV in South Dakota

Nice pronounceable llll.us, but all of the meanings (except the last) are fairly useless due to the extension.

I'd say mid $xx, just for the brandability and readablility.

Good Luck

Kota.US

Let's think about that for a minute. .US typically stands for the United States but you highlight how the first part of the domain could stand for Indonesian this or Malayalam that or China this or Japan that. In a case like this, you are your own worst enemy, devaluing the domain by putting foreign ideas for developed on a .us ext which in essence makes it a worthless domain. STOP IT ALREADY. :P

Ignore every thing you said and never say it again because it would probably cost you any potential end user buyer. Instead focus on something compeltely different like ...

it being a one *SHORT* word, pronouncable domain. It's also cute and catchy and not tied to any specific market so it could be easily brandable to a variety of things.

If a person was to represent your domain properly, pointing out the things that I have and avoiding at all costs the things you have said, you MIGHT find an end user willing to shell out high $xxx or even low $x,xxx for it for the brandability potential.

I also mentioned two things in my post:

* It may also refer to KOTA-TV, the ABC affiliate located in Rapid City, South Dakota.

* Kota is sometimes also used as a short form for Dakota (North and South)

Seeing that these two references are in the US, what would you put the value as? I merely listed the other references to let everyone know what it all refers to

Also, its a CVCV domain, so that adds more to its value, right?

Unfortunately the problem here is that it is a .us.

I'd definitely agree with those who say mid-high $xx. It's definitely a good name :)

I just found out that Kota.us has 21 pages archived at archive.org since 2003

Does that add anything to the domain value?

bump!
