Thanks everyone, wouldn't want a legal battle with Nike! A questions to help me learn
Kudos to you for being open and wanting to learn. So many new members will post a trademarked domain like this for appraisal, and when the long-term experienced domainers (many who have dealt with c & d letters, lawyers, wipo, etc) tell them to drop the trademarked domain, they debate and argue and lie and fabricate and are entirely closed to learning, they only listen to the rationalizations in their own heads.
Yes, many domainers worldwide deal in trademarked domains, and yes most of them get away with it. And we all somehow seem to get stuck with a domain or three we might not have known had a TM. But you'll have a much better domaining career/hobby, and a much safer one, and a better reputation, if you stay away from purposely dealing in 'obvious' trademarks. You know, don't go for google, xbox, nike domains, etc etc etc. If you're unsure, check
here to see if a term has trademarks.
Welcome to Namepros, best of luck here, and have fun
