I have located 3-5 word, keyword domain names within the pet industry. The keywords are getting between $4-8.00 on PPC. The average search on Google Exact Match is between 200-1000. The Domain Names are .com's. I would be looking to park these names. Would I receive any type in traffic with that many words in the name? Are these names worth buying? Thanks for any help!

It's hard to tell. Maybe no type-in traffic at all.

Type in traffic for non generics is hard to estimate. You might or you might not get any type ins. However if you put up minisites/landing pages and do a lil SEO work you should be able to get some traffic. I once read a paper about traffic estimation which suggests that you can estimate traffic by multiplying the exact search numbers by .02. So in your case assuming you have a landing page your avg traffic (according to the formula) should be .02 x your search numbers. All the best.

Type-ins that long probably won't give you any direct traffic. Most people are too lazy. They use google and go from there. Remember, the length of ANY domain increases the potential of typos etc.

Let alone 200-1000 exact searches isn't a whole lot. I would say the odds are against you in terms of profitability, but you never know.
