Keyword combo?

Hi,

If I am trying to use a keyword combo that end and start with the same letter is it bad to drop one letter?

Example:
Domainname.com into Domainame.com

How would the search engines interpret this?

Does doing this hurt resale value?

I am not the biggest fan of double letters, but will always take a correct spelling over an alternative version.

DomainNames.com is way better than Domainames.com
