Hi there,

During the free .be frenzy, one of the domains I picked up was "keyring.be".

Today I was e-mailed by a Dutch company and they said that it is a registered trademark in Europe and they would like the domain.

What do you guys think I should do? I was not aware that "key ring" was a registered trademark, or even if a common phrase can actaully be trademarked.

Since they are in Europe [Holland or Belgium] and I'm in the UK, can they take the domain from me?

I actaully intended to put up a site about my key ring collection, but haven't had the time.
Many thanks.

I know how you feel Masa,,,The TM BS continues....people can TM "Cow" and "Cap" by themselves....It is outragous...I would just give them the name...and tell them to stick it where the sun dont shine.

actually, there is a phrase going around now, hopefully people have seen it... usage usage usage....

Jsut becuase there may be a TM does not automatically mean the company get the domain. research TM on these boards to find out why.
