Karma's a bitch.

As the old saying goes, "Don't get mad, get even."

Stay tuned for more details.

By the way, MOST transgressions are not worth stewing over, but this one is a doozy, a spectacular breach between company and customer.

And I have found a way to exact an appropriate payback to two VERY BAD players in this industry.

I can't say much right now -- next week I'll be more specific.

Someone crossed the wrong person...

I'm slow to explode, but when I do...

Ka-Pow!!!

I'm an IP attorney. Thanks for the two cents - I think I have it covered.

My apologies. I assumed that when you retained your own lawyer to pursue settlement of your own claim on the theft of virtual property (a few domains) while being agreeable to just add other complainants from Namepros and calling that a "pending class action"...that you weren't a lawyer.

But, as you are an IP attorney, perhaps you can answer a question I've often wondered. Does parking domains with ads clearly related to another's TM help or hinder your reputation in the legal community?

An update:

I was able to retrieve my domain after New Ventures Services dropped it.

More at Scamful:

Yeah, I know; it's not a great domain (it has a hyphen), but I had acquired in early days, and I'm a bit attached to it. I was fairly certain it would eventually drop, and I tend to be patient and persistent...

Better yet: I didn't pay New Ventures Services extortion rates.

:)
