AHHH Different story. The rules are you cant make a penny. Not even an add. and you can tpark it. Basically you can do anything with it other than talk about him. One add and you can get sued. Sorry to assume you were selling but you are asking about a domain in an apprasal board , this board does not apprasie fan web sites. But hey good luck with the venture.

Well I dont think youd be able to sell the domain name without getting a bit of hassle. If you developed a fansite in good faith, you could probably sell it if that person was going to continue the fansite for a nice sum of money.

I can almost taste the headache that comes with developing this domain. Celebrity name domains are very "iffy" and most of the time not worth the hassle of name infrigement or trademark crap. Good luck with the fanclub bit.

You can create a fan site but then why do you want an appraisal for the domain? Trying to profit from someone else's trademark is where you get into trouble.

If you develop a fan site "in good faith" and happen to make a little money on the side from ads SOME people don't really care about that but not always. It is always their legal right to pursue you and legally attempt to shut you down.

As for selling it ... not really likely to have a lot of luck in that area.
