it's not arrogant, to be truthful, to use words that are commonly used and have been used as adjectives to describe the quality or lack of, when referring to a domain name.
IF....and that's a big IF, you can take your EGO out of the equation.
then your ass might learn something.
it's only the mo-fo who can put self aside, to let brain soak up some science and philosophy, as expressed and applied....from mo-fo's who learned before them, who'll make it to next level.
I mean be real, the same folks you admire and worship are arrogant as hell in their own way, but you have no problem quoting their sayings and what they sold this and that for and so on and so on.
but let a nobody like me, say your name is crap, and your panties start crawing up your izz-zass.
when that happens, then just pull em out, go change drawls and come back ready for more.
you'll appreciate it in the end, I guarantee

I feel really bad when people register terrible names, and they try to pitch them to me as I am doing sales.
Especially the ones that tell me my name isn't worth $15, but theirs is not even worth the electricity that it takes to save that tiny bit of data that identifies them as the owner.
As your 2014 resolution, stop buying bad domains.
Read every forum thread (right here on NamePros) you can, learn what is a good name and what isn't and why.
It will only help you in the long run.
Also, if you know a domain is worth something don't listen to other domainers telling you it isn't worth anything. If the metrics support the domain then it's a good buy and should be an easy sell.
Kind of a catch 22 isn't it.
Such is the culture. Best of luck to you all.
