I just reggd my 2nd SPanish .tv with JUVENTUD.TV

I believe it means Youth (please correct me if im wrong), i think this could be a great name for an end user.

Here is few bits of info on JUVENTUD i found:

I found out there is an awards show called "The JUVENTUD awards" i think it is based in the US but i cant remember link.
Google results for "JUVENTUD" = 24.5 Million (high for Spanish domain)

**"Youth.tv" is classed as a premium name**

JUVENTUD (youth) is a very brandable term with the majority of people who use the internet will fall into the youth category.

I really like this name and have high hopes for it in future, i havent decided yet on development ideas or if i will sell it on.

SO what do you guys think, was it worth me taking the chance and buying a SPanish .tv with my limited experience and command of language??

I can't confirm the translation, but if it is Youth then it's a nice catch i think.
Plenty of scope.
btw could also be a typo of Juventus ,Famous Italian football club

To be honest i am very worried about the translation as i speak NO SPanish at all, i did check it everywhere i could and youth was said to be the meaning.

I hadnt thought of the Juventus typo (im a BIG footy fan)

If it really does mean Youth then im delighted and if not then its just another lesson learnt >:(

McKennaRoonie,
I think the more popular term is joven and jovenes (plural). Any spanish speakers out there?

Thanks,
A

im getting worried ,lol (its no problem if translation is wrong as im sure it can be cancelled)

I checked overture for the term to see if that give us a clue to the popular terms:

jรณvenes : 249
joven: 1518
Juventud: 873

Im not sure that clears anything up, i need a Spanish speaker :'(

If you look at joven, it's been registered. Jovenes is registered by Domainspa, a holder of many Spanish *.TV's. Sorry I could not be of further assistance.

Thanks pertosda (i :loveyou: long time!! heehee)

Now i am really pleased with my SPanish reg, i was nearly vowing NEVER to buy a Spanish name again but now that im happy then i will be regging again and again.

Thanks guys for helping with the translation, you helped lots.

Now i have translation sorted then can i ask, what do you guys think of it??

ANy good development ideas, any insight from the Spanish speakers on what i should do??

Personally im really happy with this one as "Youth tv" is really brandable and can cover a large section of ideas.

Thanks again and thanks in advance for replies :great:
