This is the guy starring as Tom Cruise's son in War of the Worlds. Do celebrity names ever sell for anything?

Thank you in advance

Most celebrity names would be protected by, at the very least, common law trademark, but I think you're safest with .org (or .info) and a non-profit site, or one that doesn't directly trade off the person's celebrity status.

reg fee, possible tm issues.

Low to mid $xx..
What idea you have in mind for development?

There are precedents where celeb domains were deemed legitemately used, usually for bonafide fan sites. If you are looking to just sell without development, I do not think domains like yours can fetch a high price. But you should be able to recoup several times your reg fee if you find a real fan who wants it.

I think the .org is ideally suited for the fan sites... or .info as I stated above.
