question Just won a domain in GoDaddy

Hi,

I just won a domain in godaddy auction using 'Buy Now". Can I sell this domain right away or must I wait for 60 days? Because there is a rule of registering or transferring a domain name cannot be transfer for 60 days period. I want to confirm first before I list in for selling.

You cannot sell it til it's in your account. You can push it to another GD account within 60 days, transfer out after 60 days to another registrar.

Yes.

Any newly registered domain or newly transferred domain will be prevented from transfer out for 60 days.

This is a rule put in place by ICANN, the organization that oversees domain names, and all registrars must comply with this rule.

You can transfer or "push" a domain name to another account at the same registrar any time you want without worrying about the 60 day rule.
