Just wandering: Are still there opportunities with dropped/expired domains?

As a newbie still learning, I was wondering if there are still opportunities to be found with dropped or expired .com domains, or the ones that expire everyday are, basically, not resalable at all?

Roughly, of my sales in the last 2 years, about a third were names that dropped (it takes a lot of time a patience to find those diamonds in the rough), about a third were hand regs (pay attention to the news) and about a third were from reaching out to current name owners and/or auctions.

Just be sure to double check what your looking at eg if a site it ranked top on backlinks but crap name with no alexa for example is false data.

Totally agree. Register first hand domain .com for a non native English speaker it's really complicated. But all the .com domains expiring those days seem to me very poor in quality. I guess the good ones are all gone...

There's around 100,000 pending delete domains dropping every day.

Not to mention NameJet, Godaddy closeouts, Dynadot expired auctions with thousands of domains.
