it depends on your site. my web hosting site gets $2 per click. my blog makes $0.07 per click. are you happy $0.46 per click? if you think you should be making more then read the forums to find out how you can do that.

My clicks vary.. some days ive gotten 6 or 7 clicks and its been under a dollar of revenue but some days ill get one click and it will be worth $3.

I think if you have steady ~$0.50 clicks that is pretty good.

Ask any Adsense pro, clicks over $2 are extremely rare. So if you do get a $3 one, then celebrate ;)

I have domains with keywords from different areas and I can not remember the last time I got a click work 50 cents... mostly 5-10 cents!

D14Posters, hmm...maybe you are showing posters ads, and that doesn't pay well.

There are some keywords that can fetch double digits (as in $xx) per click. Personally, I usually get around $0.35.

The Critic, you are right. but your site and content must be within the same area of those keywords..

Hi HiSoC8Y,

I get the low pay per click on both my minisites and my parked domains (over 100)! My average PPC on NameDrive this month is 6 cents!!!

Hello,

I'd look at it this way. Parking your domain might get you about 25c a click. Putting Google on your page and getting 46c, is a bit better don't you think? Just my 2c

This is fine and a good general average.

Apparently there are a few keywords that go $50 and higher. I think this is based off of bids rather than CPC, but even if Google keeps half of a $50 bid that's still $25 per click.

its next to impossible that gettng $xx , it has never happened to me i get clicks like $2 or low only once i heard someone recieved such a click [$xx]

I'll tell you guys about my experience.

first of all, im new to this business. I started in Sept.
I have about 250 domains parked at Sedo, and in Sept, i made on average like 40c/day.

With AdSense,

so far, i have 5-6 domains only and i'm making about 50c/day. (6 domains comparing to 250 domains) Some days, i had $4/day.

which i think im doing very good. This will even get better when i get indexed by google.

Pay attention to your visitors. Don't try to trick your users, be fair.

Its like this, imagine you visit a site, and u see an AdSense adv, and you visit it. why did u do that? because the adv is what you are seeking or related to it.

one of my sites, i make 1c, but others, i make between 40-60c ..some even $1.64, this is on my forum site, and i only have maybe 20 unique visits/day.

Advertisers MAX bid and what you get per click is vastly different, obviously. Don't underestimate the amount google brings in each day from these advertisers, which is why I don't see the CPC model going anywhere too soon. I think the most drastic action we will see regarding CPC is perhaps a small drop in max bids to make it worth the advertisers money (assuming that is it not already, but there are keywords out there that will get you countless advertising for .10/click). Certainly, we will see an increase in CPA (cost per action) programs as statistics continue to develop, but google doesn't have anything to worry about. I see some speculation on the future of the YPN program due to their large payouts. When you consider the profit margins, I think there arn't enough lawsuits to put them quite under wraps, either. It will be interesting to see what the future brings for us publishers :)
