I just searched for a domain on enom and saw that they changed the order the available and taken domains are displayed. It's now...

com, net, org, info, biz, us

Before today it used to be...

com, net , org, us, info, biz ... I think

I don't know if this means anything but maybe enom did this because they noticed and increase in info and biz regs compared to us.

You are correct. Also, it looks to me like they added .CA and .BZ to the main search results display.

I don't think it's a sign of popularity or registration numbers.

Before now, .US was the only country code on that initial search. Now they've added two new ones (.CA and .BZ) and it appears they just adjusted things to group the ccTLD's together.

I think that they have it correct now. ccTLD's should come after the gTLDs. I don't think its necessarily right to through .US in there with the global top level domain names especially when it isn't one.

I think they are related to their promotion schemes more than the popularity..

i think it has to do with localization. they put com, net, org, info, biz first, followed by the ccltd of the region your ip is from.
from here in japan, i get com, net, org, info, biz followed by .jp, .cn, .com.cn, .com.tw
i think they are getting smarter!
