Just made my first sale with Afternic!!

A while back I decided to list some names with them and forgot about it. Then the other day I woke up to an email saying one of my names sold. Pretty cool. I've never had luck on any marketplace before so that was pretty nice.

$499 at a BIN ---> $399 after their 20% commission (seems like a lot, but I hand regged the name like 4 months ago, so whatever..).

Thinking about listing all of my names with them now. Curious, how is Afternic going for y'all?

Congrats on the sale! If it states "Apollo" means someone bought it via Godaddy. So cool that someone typed in a hyphen while searching for names.

Congratulations! About to list some of my domain on Afternic now. I've had an account for a while but never had any results, so I removed my domains a while back.

The mysterious "apollo"...

Apollo is the username that shows when a sale is completed on the Afternic Network and we do not know the buyer directly. This means it could have sold at GoDaddy, Network Solutions, Google Domains or one of hundreds of other partner sites.

Great Sale, So do we need to put the names both at Godaddy and Afternic or one place is suffice? If you put your name at one place will it be automatic available at other site??

I really don't know. I have a few names listed with Afternic that are registered with GD, but they don't show up on GD searches. And I names that are not regged with GD that do show up. So I don't know. All the settings appear to be the same.

But I'm pretty sure that if you have it listed on GD, unless you specifically list it at Afternic it won't show up there.

Grats man! Always nice to hear people finally selling. One question though. Did you have premium listing, ie. registrar that supported instant transfer?
