I am curious on thoughts of the group--I saw mp3downloads went for a couple Gs
FreeMusicArchive also sold for about 2K but both of those were like 2007 I guess that's a good sign they held on to them.
Webconfs.com says the domain is 17 years old but having a hard time verifying that part.
Godaddy Bot puts it at just over 1K evaluation.
Most of the NAmeBio sales were really old except an freemusic org extension which sold last month for 645
I am not sure why freemusicdownload dot com sold in 2011 for 45K
I'm really torn on keeping vs flipping---
I can see keeping it and turning it into a site for legal downloads, affiliate sales of Amazon or Itunes Music subscriptions.
I could also see if being a venue or event desired domain for releasing samples and new of new upcoming music as well as a directory for local music events like local parks or bars etc...
Archive org shows it as it was a Legal Download Site for music in the past. I liked the fact some of the Anchor links that are still live out there on it are Legal Download Music anchor text. So I know it wasnt full of P2P ripping.

Selling this would be tuff.
Monetize with itunes or amazon affiliate programs. That would be better and pay off in a better way.

Very true totally depends on the value of the 3 words. For example:
FreeCreditReport.com would be a valuable 3 word domain, as that's something that is searched frequently.

I can tell you there is value in "Free Music", and you might get away with anchoring off of "Spotify" keywords
Whoever will be using this domain will have their work cut out for them in the SEO department for sure.

But there is value in this domain.

on the note of 3 word uses .. I own freeanxietyrelief.com freecreditsolution.com There are times 3 words or over 15 characters are needed. even 3 short key words .

It’s a decent name but once you get up to 3 words, potential users can easily spin reg fee substitutes so for a good payday you’d need a user who's head over heels in love with the phrase “free music spot” or its backlinks. That will be a tough sell IMO, I like the name though, and would have been a good money maker during the free Napster era, not so much now though, IMO
