Drop and Caught. I happened to think this was a stellar keyword even in this extension. What do you guys think? :p

LoL - I had wanted to get some appraisals before I revealed the price. But I guess I was the only one who thought it was funny. My Bad.

It was captured on a $60 Backorder from Snap - No competition. I had guessed this would have fetched atleast a few bidders, but no. $60 it was.

Why not both? Same realm- getting money or losing money. lol but seriously it can be a sight for whatever needs filing, perhaps a referral site. With some tips and advice on filing papers then wait for some traffic.

Well... looking at the names in your signature (which are very nice names by the way) I would focus on developing 1 of thos first before playing with Filed.info. All five of them are worthy of the extra time for development imho.

Oh, thank you. Those are strictly for resale. 2 Of them are developed with mini-sites and adsense, and 1 of them is pending in escrow.

But those are just a few of my better ones. I typically pick up 10 per week (as of currently anyway). So Most of them dont make it to development. Especially with NameBio and DropHistory taking most of my time!

Can I afford it, yes. It doesnt kill my budget. I spend quite a bit building my portfolio as an investment. Although some may not agree with me, I found this domain name to be fantastic. I loved the extension and I loved the useability of this keyword. I expected the price at auction to be in the low xxx range (2-300). So I was exstatic to get the name at what I consider an excellent price. I was more curious as to what others had thought its value as, I also love to hear ideas.

Personally, I don't like it. Did you overpay? I'd say yes but that's just my opinion.
In reality there's always someone who'll pay more, it's just a case of finding them.

I like it for Development personally .... Think of how much Filed Info there is - I probably wouldn't look at it as a "re-sell" for short term. But long term and for a portfolio - Nice.

Public Records Databases - Social Security / Death / Marriages / Taxes / etc ... etc ...

my very humble opinion here, i believe that filed.info is ONLY going to be worth what you paid for it (and more) if you develop it. the mid $xx purchasing drop fee was "ok" but nothing that would have thrown me off my rocker.
I'd go with the route of anything that can be filed, from the legal form to tax forms to INS forms, anything that fits in a virtual file drawer. letting it sit, is probably not going to do much for you, unless you pull the broker concept off.

Ahhhh Mike. Im so behind on so many friggen projects. NameBio V2 is just about completed and then I have another TopSecret project that I cant quite say in the public forum until the site is built. But thats project #2 and THEN NameBio will release a V3 with Appraisal Service, and THEN I may be able to start a brokering service.... H........E..........L..........P!!!!!!!!!!!!
