Thanks for your appraisals.

This domain is appraised by many forums @ xxx.

Actually I didn't buy it for cash.

Its for an exchange of domains.

However will wait & see how the auction goes

Having been a member for so long you should know that automated appraisals are worthless. Have to agree with the other comments, this name is meaningless.

If you receive Only payments, I guess the competition would have to accept No payments?

A Name is as good as the services behind it.Example...Drop out of school and Build upon a search platform website and calling it Dogpile worth 61 million in 2003 is one.Fresh Free Content is and will always be King!!! http://www.digitalpctv.com

2003 join date and you are still quoting estibot? It's fun to play around with, but come on...

Hi,

Everybody know the domain value is what the buyer is paying max for that domain.
My first ever domain Rushh.com was appraised for reg fee to $25 max in various places. But I sold it for $1200 ! I didn't market it much. Rushh.com was purchased by a energy drink company in 2003 (Like coke / pepsi) ! Can you believe?

Here why I mention is to utilize the appraisal idea - Potential domain or keyword or some thing that increased the opportunity.

I understand the NP appraisals are better than the automated.
For an example ExHusband.org is my domain in auction.

Estibot appraised for $30. NP appraisered for upto mid xxx.

I put in auction & the auction is going good with more bids / PM offers.

So I don't completely agree or disagree with the appriasals.

But this increases the chance to discover new ideas to increase the marketability of the domain. Thats what I tried many appraisals & discussing that.

Please post your suggestions if I'm right or wrong also

Consider yourself lucky then. Mediocre domains do sell sometimes, but the odds of selling for good money are rather slim.

here are my thoughts....

Yes, appraisals are good to get a baseline or general idea of what others think. Yes anyone can sell any domain & make a great sale if they find the right individual / end user.

Sure there are people that under value / over value domain names every day. All that it takes is a person with the right idea & creativity.

Some domainers are really good salesmen & can be more successful at selling lower quality domains than others. Presentation & other promotional tactics can have a big influence on a domain names desirability.

....Now as far as OnlyPayments.com With proper development you could increase the value of this name. If a company like google or yahoo used a domain like this it would turn to GOLD. In no time you would see people registering & pushing domains like OnlyCars.com, OnlyKeyword.com etc

I am suggesting here that ONLY is not that desirable of a prefix in front of a keyword. I think most end users would prefer something that makes more sense like FastPayments.com or EasyPayments.com or something along those lines.

There is also a lot of luck involved etc when buying / selling domain names.

Do I think you can get your money back or a *small profit on this name? I do not see why not. You saw enough in this name to register it & I am sure there is someone else that might like it as well.

If you are wanting to sell this name for a huge profit it is going to difficult compared to other domains that are out there. Why pay $xxx for this domain when you can buy a better for low $xxxx or something.

hopefully this helps you.

Excellent points usa666, well said.

The "Only" prefix doesn't go well with the keyword and isn't the best for brandability. An end-user might still end up paying $50k for it! but I wouldn't hold my breath. In the general markets, especially amongst resellers, this would struggle to get much more than its registration fee.

Good luck

:)

Im not crazy myself about the name, as mentioned the "Only" thingy doesnt work well with this word...

This domain makes absolutely no sense. This is not a common term or phrase. Only payments? What does that mean?

I could see if it was ONLYpayment because maybe then it could be branded into a payment processor as the only payment of choice but onlypayments don't make any sense.

$0. Even branding this I think the name is horrible.
Maybe you're better off buying domains off of members if you think this one is good, no offense....you just wasted your money! :\

I agree, reg fee. I see nothing special about it. Perhaps with development, but I see it being hard to develop.
