Hello!
I had registered this name around last december, when I didn't know about that is not ethical registering personal names of celebrities and famous names nowadays... This guy is a rich investor, and procuder of the AKA TV series and so on...
Today I got mail from Palmyra Systems. They are interested in this name, would buy it from me, but they didn't write price.
My first question is, what is your appraisal to this name?
second: have anyone heard about this company, because I have found nothing about them.
Maybe the guy wants to buy his name with this company?
Thanks for the further answers!

well, I would sell it before you lose the domain through UDRP or trademark issues (if it is trademarked that is)....

selling price - i would negotiate with them to see what you can get....

never heard of this company but don't buy an appraisal or anything like that from them, if they suggest that, then it's an appraisal scam...

If the domain was a generic name, than I would use historical sales to determine the sales price for similar named domains, unfortunately, this is a unique domain name, so it's hard to quantify the selling price.

I could say start at $900, but then you don't want to scare them off with too a high price either....

What I have done with similar instances, is reply back thanking them for their interest in the domain, tell them that you are certainly willing to sell the domain for the right price, and that if they wish to move forward, to submit a serious offer. If they come back and ask you for the price instead, than I would start off a price, say $750, and negotiate from there!.

I wrote them, asking a price...
Otherwise do you think that, would it be good to contact the person, whose name is the domain name?

oh ok, seems like you have it all under control!.

There is a risk if you ask the person who's domain you have registered, if lucky, that person would be willing to buy it off you, on the other hand, it could turn the other way, just look at the famous people recently who have brought a judgment against domainers and won, Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise...if you do a search, you'll find that these stars had their lawyers involved to recoup domain names.....

I've got a mail with an offer of 7000 USD, but I read a littlebit, and turned out, that is a scam. It's like that listed in this post: http://www.namepros.com/warnings-an...com-is-a-scam.html?highlight=easynamesale.com
Otherwise thank you for your wise advices :)
Have a nice day!
