Possible meanings:

• Java P2P

Why I acquired it:

• 4-character .com
• P2P is a widely used technology/fintech term
• Only JP2P.com appeared available among single-letter-prefix P2P combinations I checked
• The term “JP2P” is already used by GitHub/Java P2P projects
• The domain has prior registration history and may have historical backlinks

I am still checking its Wayback and backlink history.

Historical update:​

Further research confirms that JP2P.com was already active in April 2001.

The archived website hosted actual peer-to-peer software for download, together with installation and usage instructions for both Windows and Unix systems.
