It's registered with RF and expires on 14Aug2006. Please don't ask me about traffic or revenue because I did not install any tracking.

It's running on Softbiz jokes script which costs $35, has 215 backlinks, it's affiliated with a couple of joke sites, and you have to admit - it's a relatively strong domain name (49,200 index pages for "jokexxx")

I actually am not really interested in the domain and don't think it's that strong at all. The XXX automatically equates for most people, to porn. Which isnt even what the site is about.

The fact that this site has all these backlinks and has been around since 2004 yet it's still a PR0 concerns me. Has it been banned?

To rephrase my question how long do you plan to run this? I reserve the right to withdraw my bid if this thing goes on too long or I find better site to spend the cash on.

It's PR0 because it was an undeveloped domain until I picked it up last month - I think the previous owner just parked it somewhere.

I bought the name ($100) not because it equates to porn, but rather it equates to adult jokes, therefore has it's niche. This is the OVT for adult-related joke search in July 2005:

I hope my ratings, number of posts and other developed websites can convince you that I'm not some out to con anyone.

Sorry Lyn, didn't see your post. No you can't unfortunately.

The thing I liked about the script is that it's designed for ads. There are 3 ad spots that you can control from the admin panel - top, left bottom and right. All you need to do is enter the codes (e.g. Adsense, CJ, Linkshare, etc.) and it will rotate them randomly.

As you can all see, I've priced the BIN relatively close to my cost (minus my time and the NP$ that I've spent ) because I'm looking for a quick sale. Hopefully I can sell before Fri

2. I don't know how to check if the website is banned or not, could you please show me.
3. I do not like the domain name, but the content and script is OK. So, could the script license be transferred to other domain name. And will the buyer get support from the script provider once it is transferred ownership.
4. I tried to search the site in major search engine but no result. If the traffic is not from search engine, where does it come from. Could you send me more detailed Stats. It will be availble in the cpanel.

1. Why? Is 215 backlinks in a mth considered fast? I started jokexxx.com together with these 2 sites last month:
- eplforum.com (949 backlinks)
- vistawallpaper.com (2,428 backlinks)
2K jokes come from the NP$ that I spent here - look for the topic under NP$ Incentives. Yes, the site is about 1 month old.

2. Search for "jokexxx.com" on google, msn and yahoo - it's there.

3. Wow! Personally, I think the domain's worth much more than the script (see my post on OVT above). The script's licensed for jokexxx.com only.

4. Seriously, I have no idea. I've already attached the stats in my post above. It could be from the links on my other sites, e.g. vistawallpaper.com. I've also added it to a couple of high traffic community sites - you'll have to wait for my ebook to find out more on these strategies

Thanks for your answer. Most of the questions has been cleared but

1. Will the new owner get support from the script owner? some script doesn't support if the ownership transferred. I will need support from script owner if I win... Could you check with the script owner? This is a must for me.

2. For the traffic, if you could get webalizer, you could get the AWstats which is in the same manual of Cpanle. Could you please PM me this info?
Will you keep the link in your site for ,say, 3 month to help this joke site start up.

1. Support is via a Contact Us form - they won't even know who owns the site.

2. The webalizer stats are no good because it lumps the statistics for 4 websites together since their on the same hosting account. Thtat's why I've attached the sub-domain stats above which shows the real stats for jokexxx.com.

3. I could maintain the current links intact provided I don't sell the sites

Anyone for BIN at $200?
