Nope, you should be able to change it under "Edit Profile" in the UserCP. Is it not updating there for you?

Hmm. It shows a 2-minute gap for me now. Must have something to do with the change in servers. Didn't really wait around doing nothing for it, but Yahoo messenger told me that there was a change in the thread, so I was able to get in quickly. Still, I really jumped on that one.

yea same case here...msn messenger gave me an aleart when somebody posted in the thread

You subscribe to a thread, get the email and use an alert tool to be alerted of new mail. Alert tools are avaialable with IM tools if you have an email service with them, or you can find one that works with your POP account(s) in just about any freeware archive.
