John Martin, domain info email scam?

I got the below email in my mailbox today. From the header I can see the mail was sent from a Russian dailup account, which seems strange as the mail talks about a hongkong based company.

Any info about John Martin is welcome

Were your domain really listed for sale? Did you verify that this company do exist? Try emailing the company directly and ask about this sale. IMO, Chances are this is a scam.

I was really disappointed that he didn't reply back to me after I told him I wanted £50,000 for a very bad domain name...

It's a total scam! Dozens of us have gotten that same sort of email. What he's after is to have you get an appraisal from one of his site or a site where he gets commission for getting appraisals. Stay away!!!
