regarding 'Netizen'

I've never came across anything like this before... 'Netizens'.
Reg.Fee, in my opinion.
I must say, then, that I'm surprised.
Like the terms citizen or denizen, netizen refers to "an inhabitant"
for instance, citizen is an inhabitat of a country.
Netizen denotes an inhabitant of the internet, and is considered to be a term that denotes someone of higher sophistication than the norm, so it has a huge positive connotation.
From that standpoint, the placement of the term jetset as a fron-runner adjective packs a tremendous punch.
I for one would love to be considered a jetset netizen <grin>
Hopefully the above info places it in perspective.
Also, if you look on the web, you will see many functional sites like jetsetter.com, netizen.com, and the like [i.e. these terms are valuable enough to be "in-service" as opposed to speculative domains.]
So...
further opinions and appraisals, anyone?
