domain Jatropha()info - Nearly all ccTLDs taken!

I would appreciate appraisals on the above name. It has an Overture of 2005/month. Google Ads come up as ads for Biofuel & Biodiesel. Same as many of the results in Google.

I'm not really sure about the value of these alt fuels, but if every TLD is taken, then it must have some value...info is among the top 5 TLDs right now..

Exact figure? I'm not sure...low-mid xx perhaps...more as the general population's concept of the term grows.

You have a nice name there, but then .info has been difficult to evaluate.
If there is some research going on jatropha trees for alt power source (diesel/ electricity) etc then there might be specific companies looking for that name.

You will need to identify ur customer and prolly offer the name to create value for it.

Otherwise, might go for $50-100
I'd suggest build a mini site with information on the properties of jatropha and then prolly contact some bio-agri corps to offer.

Good thing is ur site would not need to be huge and you can easy enmass all the information from web sources like wiki in no time. Rewards could be big depending on who becomes interested.

Dont sell it too shallow as it might be picked for good $'s by someone looking for it.

Jatropha is becoming a huge source of biodeisel in Africa and Asia right now and some very large companies and investing millions and millions of dollars in it's production.It's only going to get bigger and bigger over time.
I've been receiving Google Alerts on Jatropha daily for the last four months and it seems to be increasing every day as people become aware of it's potential,especially in Africa and Asia.
I'd hold onto the domain for now until it becomes better known in order to maximize it's potential.

Most of the advertisers are from Asia, and they don't pay much compared to other biofuels

Hold onto it for a good 5 years. Biofuels becoming BIIIG business and Jatropha is one of the largest crops being used. The crop itself isnt really well known among the public, but those in the industry are very aware. Sell in a few years (What's .info now, $2.99 /year?) when it'll def be worth $XXXX IMHO.
