Japanese Traffic..?

I have a domain which recieves around 15-20 uniques a day. The only problem is that 99% of the traffic is japanese.

I parked it on namedrive, and obviously got a very low click rate (0% :D )... The traffic is now being redirected to my blog.

I was wondering if anyone knew how i could monetize this traffic, or what the hell i could do with it.

Is the traffic natural?
I don't think you will earn much with parking the domain name. imho

though, if you are willing to sell the domain i would be interested to test
and play with the traffic.

Most of the traffic is from backlinks. Looking at archive.org it seems the domain was for a japanese strip club... but my japanese isn't that great :P

I'll just play around with the traffic, and see what happens...

Exactly - enter a Japanese keyword! Try "裸" or "裸体" or "体"

I've changed the keyword to a japanese one. I'm now getting around 15%-20% click through rate.

I've taken a quick look at that site, and it looks interesting. I'll have a proper look soon But it says i need 1000 uniques a month.. i barely recieve half that.

Yeah, I may create a minisite using more images than words.. i'll play around with japanese keywords first to see if i can increase the click through rate.

I too have a domain parked with ND with mostly Japanese traffic. I was able to find some relevant Japanese keywords from the archive.org cache. It now generates around 3% click through and > $1 PPC. So I'm pretty happy with that.

A quick analysis on this. TISIC stands for "Tokyo Iron & Steel Industry Cooperative Union" and has not much to do with 7 million search results that you see in Google. Their current home page: http://www.ttk.or.jp/.

The appropriate keyword for this would be: "鉄鋼工業" (w/o double quotes). If you google it, there are 1,290,000 hits for it. Notice this entity itself is in the second place.

I don't expect, however, tisic.com to have many clicks or Sedo to be able to show many related links to that. Unlikely the steel industry will use Adwords for new sales leads. At least in Japan.
