I have some questionable domains myself, but this one (iTunestablet), is a BLATANT TM violation... Even I wouldn't touch this domain with a 10 foot pole... Grace delete if possible...

Don't worry about getting it appraised. And don't worry about TM violations either, if and only 'IF' you can build a itunes / tablet friendly website with product friendly articles, reviews and updates..

TM violation hinges a lot on intent and use rather than just possession of company marks. If Apple wants the name back, then hand it over, but don't let the name delete.

I say this from experience and with quite a few bucks in revenue made in the process. So, go ahead. build a site. You have nothing to lose. You will only be helping Apple look good. Trust me. They won't mind a bit if your site is professional and well made with appropriate disclaimers.

And if you don't intend to develop a quality site, hoping that the Tm holder doesn't come after you, you will have to hope that you can find someone who is prepared to take the risk, to buy the domain from you.
