It’s time for GoDaddy to start releasing weekly sales data again. We have Sedo, Web.com with their NameJet/Snapnames monthly report and now Uniregistry is releasing weekly top 20 sales. So it would be nice for GoDaddy/Afternic to start releasing a sales report, they stopped when they were going public and yes there are some rules […]

Should be interesting to analyze... However, it is likely that they would not include expired auction sales (which part alone, if promptly analyzed, may raise a lot of interesting questions). But, without expired auction sales, the data feed would be incomplete - it is obvious. So I think we should not expect to see GD data in forseeable future...

Yes but if they start making Afternic sales public again like years ago, that would be good.

It would be great for the domain industry if Godaddy and Afternic both released their domain sales.
Not just current but all past sales going all the way back to when they stopped.

Releasing domain sales helps boost more domain sales, aftermarket and registering.
    Sales beget Sales :xf.grin:

They don't have to do a weekly release but maybe a monthly or quarterly would be great! (y)

It will nice if they do, but how will they handle concluded auction with out payment by the winner?

That would depend on if they reach out to the second highest bidder and if they paid for the domain name and the adjusted price could be displayed accordingly. If there was only one bidder, then it would just be erased.
