Thoughts?

I was thinking it could be developed to be a site about how thieves steal data on the internet, and how to protect yourself.

I'd say this is a pretty good "iKeyword.com" domain. Thieves is a pretty hard word to spell for most people, and there's no real commercial value. However, I agree with your development idea. Make an attractive, ajax based site that has a huge database of scam emails. Then tell people to copy and paste "winning sweepstakes" emails into a text box and it will analyze the email in real time to check its probability of being a scam.

oh, and if you're just starting out, then I have to say not bad for a beginner.

I would never have thought of doing a 'real-time checker' for scams. That would be cool.

Unfortunately though, I don't have the time/money to develop something like that right now. In fact, if a reasonable offer came in for this domain, I'd sell it.

Would there be any value in this undeveloped?

P.S. Yeah, I'm just getting started in domaining. I'm hoping to 'domain' to fund other online projects. At a long shot, I'd love to make $2000/month from domaining, but I don't know how achieveable that is.
