You can go broke very, very quickly by affixing E and I prefixes to totally random words and then registering them.

I'm actually a fan of quality, commercially viable E and I prefix names (eFlashlights.com, eCondos.com, iFurniture.com) and good, sensible brand types (eDrummer.com, iCalculator.com), but there is a point where they get capricious and just stop making sense (iKumquats.com, iBladeOfGrass.com, eFruitTrees.com, iJiggled.com)

Try to associate the prefix "i" and the "e" to their expected connotations.

The "I" works well with "interactive, international, INTERNET, etc"
The "e" works well with "electronic, commerce, digital, online, etc"

so when you associate "i" with volcano are you marketing an interactive
volcano? Now iSuperLotto is a decent name but is in an extreme niche,
What would be your monetization model? Anything you could provide is
already on the websites of each lotto.

Take for example the name in my sig. iAmerica.tv. If not for the strong
keyword the prefix would fail. As is it works because you can associate
the "i" with America. Not so much with EarthQuake.

Your walking a very fine line with prefix and suffix names. And remember
they will almost always require big marketing and branding to be
anything.

I was thinking of developing apps for these domains that monitors earthquake and volcanic activity.

Normally, the first thing i do is check the value of volcanoes.com and only buy them if the value is over 100k
Both are valued at over 200k without the i
So for $10, its worth the risk to hold it.

Here are a few others i like
iFlightSimulator
iAstroPhysics
iAncestors

I also focus on service names like these
iModifyYourLoan
iSaveYourHome
iRemoveDebt
iGetApproved

And so on

Most are bought for my kids to develop into apps later down the road.
But i wouldnt mind selling a few.

I also have adult names like
iNudeChat

Please fire away at these.
I will say this, i am a strong believer in buying i names because they are just like the .com counterparts in everyway but one. They acutally tell the end user that the site is ipad and iphone ready. The more apple does with the iwords, the more i words will be in demand.
This might sound crazy, but why would having an i in front of the keyword devalue it going forward into the app world? I dont see that. I would rather own the name with the i if intent is to develop an app.

i think your examples are better than the names for appraisals, but the username ibrainstorms in its self is showing a lack of knowledge as to what what sounds correct , if you have ibrainstorm then its a completely different story , iremovedebt , igetapproved , inudechat are the best in the this post , if yours some value there for you , less than reg fees for the appraisal names , good luck
