I have this domain, with no site.

But I thought I'd present it to the experts on this forum for an appraisal. With so much in the news today about the $ multiple billion package allotted for "smart grid" grants, with already millions going to several State "smart grid" initiatives, I thought this name, albeit without a site, could have some value.

maybe the "i" names are not as in vogue, but then I think of the power of the iPhone and Rick Schwartz's sale of ireport.com and figure these names still have some value.

Any feedback - greatly appreciated.

It's one to reg for a few years and see what transpires in a few years time, i would describe it as a "speculative" domain. But it's no iphone or ireport IMO. I have no value to give ATM.

I have a similar domain containing grid and GPS, and I consider it a long term investment. You should do the same.

Thanks for the advice. I received a decent offer a few months ago, but I've decided to develop the domain and provide feeds and info about "smart grid" technology and initiatives . Let's see what happens - I just hired a writer to provide the content. I agree - this is a long-term venture.
