Is this Normal?

My site: www.forumhelper.com has been online 8 DAYS OR SO.

The Site was visited by Google within the first 3 days of the site's existence and today teh MsnBot started indexing my website.

Is it normal for search engines to pickup on a new site this fast?

It's probably becuase it says 'forum' so much. How long does it usually take for search engines to find your sites?

this is currently my only website. Ive a website here or there every so often(they failed), but they never got indexed so quickly

Your timing for launching your site was good. G_oogl_e in the the midst of it's "dance." This is when the G_oogle's index is turned upside down as their system reorders Search Engine Results Pages (SERP's), recalculates backlink relevance, etc. G_oogle's deep crawl bot is making its rounds, and this is something SEO people watch very closely because, when it's done, SERP's are usually quite changed.

Also, there is another, completely different G_--gle bot that indexes pages for their AdSense for Content program. This bot will visit your pages often if you have AdSense on your pages.

If you check your logs, you will probably see 2 g-Oogle bots visiting these days.

MSN bot is probably visitng often because MS is currently pushing hard to get their MSN Search as good as Goo_gle & Yahoo.

getting indexed does seem to be quicker these days so long as you have a few links on active sites. getting up the serps though is a different matter, especially with google.

I think yes..couse their bot visit my forum too every day..so I think that's normal...

MSN bot probably picked up your site becasue it planted a bot on google? dunno but its possible.
