Hi guys,

I am new to this whole domain game and hope that some of you might spare some time to let me know if the domain www.resorts.hk is good start for a newby. I understand that .com etc are worth a lot more and I am seeking for good domains there as well however when i saw that resorts.hk was available I quickly registered it. Does it have any good value or just reg. fee plus small change.

Thanks guys and look forward to some guidance!

While everyone might give you their personal opinion on this domain name... The Hong Kong TLD is still gaining popularity. However, I personally believe you got yourself a nice pretty domain for a beginner.

I'd say a word like "Resorts" has a bit of value. Hong Kong is a tourist friendly place and when you search for Hong Kong Resorts, you get 20.5 Million results on Google.

Seems to me that you got yourself a domain worth at least low $xxxx, possibly more if you find the right buyer! :D

Great buy! Don't let anyone on here tell you otherwise.

If you want to make money off this thing, let me know, and I can advise you on how to sell it properly. Just PM me!

We feel that you have a name that is definately worth a few times more than what you paid but beyond that we're not sure...Resorts, as part of the holiday seekers, are big big business so there is alot of competition for PPC money but the saturation of the market combined with the established players combined with the relatively small .HK noteriety would cause GIANTWEED to evalute this name at mid $xxx price...in HK dollars of course!! :xf.love:

Good luck and if that is one of your first domain names then you are doing great!

We see great success in your future!!

Good Luck!

Holy cow man...you post the exact same thing in every evaluation post...do you have anything of value to add? What is the point of replying the same cut and paste reply? Uhhh...oh wait...I know why... :alien:

Thank you both for your input. I also registered resort.hk so i got the pair now. Will this make any difference in the valuation?

great keyword.. not sure of how well .hk domains are doing but I could see this at high xxx - low xxxx to the right buyer...

BTW: Is Namecaster a bot or what.. certainly his appraisals of reg fee for every domain are unwarranted.

I'm not going to speculate on its value, but I believe that it was a great reg. In my opinion, the .hk extention should be rising in popularity sometime in the near future, and you have a great keyword. And yes, good move on grabbing restort.hk as well, the domains will be worth more as a pair (if the domains were developed, the owner would be very happy to have both variations in order to avoid confusion by visitors).
