Hi XXXXXX,
Assuming we came to agreement on the details of a transfer, I can offer you $300 for the domain. However if this isn't enough for you to sell, there is another way we can work together. My company owns xxxxx.com, the second largest online retailer of art prints, and Lieberman's, the largest art wholesaler in the country. We have provided our e-commerce platform to sell custom framed art as a private label solution, meaning you can have an e-commerce store branded with your "xxxxx.com" name and get paid a 25% revenue share on all product sales. In addition to that, we'll also give you 60% of the advertising revenue generated from the site on top of that (most domain parking companies give 50% and all they have to offer is advertising). We handle everything - host the website, provide customer service, charge credit cards, fulfill orders, etc, and just send you a check every month. All you have to do is point the DNS to us so we can host the site (while keeping ownership of the domain yourself).
We have a special version of our private label platform for parked domains where we waive all setup fees to you. There is no long term commitment, you can try this and cancel at any time (such as if you choose to launch your own site at the domain or sell the domain). Based on our experience in doing this with other domains, you should earn far more with this than traditional domain parking as you will have product sales and advertising revenue. Additionally, because we will be launching an actual site with a few hundred pages of content rather than a 1 page traditional parked domain, your site will be indexed by the search engines and gain more traffic, thereby increasing the value of the domain. The search traffic you will receive, combined with the type-in traffic you already receive is all you need to make product sales without spending any money whatsoever on advertising or SEO.
A few example sites that runs this program are Motivational Posters at MotivationalPosters.com, Floral Art - Blooming Great Art for the Flourishing Designer, and Baseball Wall Art - Your online source for baseball posters, baseball art, and baseball photography. There is a line at the bottom of the site stating that the domain may be for sale - this is configurable which can either be at the bottom, at the top, or not visible at all. For each site we populate it with art prints and posters complimenting the domain so naturally in your case it would be Xxxxx art. (see link)
Let me know what your thoughts are on either outright selling the domain at the price I offered or "parking" your domain with our private label platform, or if you have any questions about the private label arrangement.
Regards,
