Is this good? $1.50+ rev in 14 days...

Hi there,
I purchased the domain Online-Shopping.us about 2 weeks ago and decided to park it with Voodoo.com, the domain gets little traffic however the visit:click ratio seems good to me.

The domain has made $1.50+ in parking revenue in less than 14 days and I purchased the domain for only $1. If this is consistant, I will earn $26 this year off my $1 investment.

In the parking world, I am a newbie.
Is this any good? If not, how can I improve this to earn max revenue.

Actually I disagree with a lot of the posters above.

#1. A domain with hyphens will get direct type ins. I have plenty of hyphens that get direct type ins.

2. .com, .net, .biz, .org., .cm, .whatever all get direct type ins. I have plenty to prove that as well.

3. Backlink traffic is not temporary. I have domains that have been getting traffic for over 7 years and guess what....the traffic comes form backlinks.

4. It is better to get 150 clicks at .01 cent versus 1 click @ $1.5 . There is "SOME" truth to this. However this person forgot to mention several other factors.

5. Your domain is worth something. Let me show you what I mean:

If you make $1.50 in 14 days that equals .10 cents a day in revenue. That's $36.50 a year in revenue. Now that may not seem like a lot but it depends on what you paid for the domain.

Now if you had a bunch of domains doing that you could easily build up a decent income.

A lot of people trying to register domain names end up typing in the domain name to see who registered it. So yeah, if you can think of it, it can get traffic. With more and more people going on the internet every year traffic will only start to increase. I think the best days of domain name investment are yet to come, this is just pre-historic times... Anything with traffic will still become priceless in the future. Domain name investment is about holding on to your domain names until some new trend comes out that no one expected, and then you start to get tons of traffic, even from guys trying to just register it. So 0 traffic today doesn't mean 0 traffic forever, this is what investment is all about. You have to be able to predict trends, and the smart guys win. Its like that whole thing with the "360" domains, dating, social, etc. All where worthless 10 years ago. Unfortunately, many people try to get rich quick off domains, when it is simply a stable vehicle for investment (if you understand what that is). I always thought domains are better assets than tangible assets. So yes, direct traffic can come to any domain name, and even domain names with 0 traffic can turn around and start to get traffic with emerging market and culture trends.
