Is there any useful ways to make Googlebot crawl more pages on your site?

Is there any useful ways to make googlebot crawl more pages on your site? the difficult position I am facing is that the indexed pages of my site is less and googlebot just crawl less than 50 pages everyday. Anything useful ways? Thanks in advance.

Get more links in, good ones. Helps with PR, from Google:

"There is also not a hard limit on our crawl. The best way to think about it is that the number of pages that we crawl is roughly proportional to your PageRank. So if you have a lot of incoming links on your root page, we'll definitely crawl that. Then your root page may link to other pages, and those will get PageRank and we'll crawl those as well. As you get deeper and deeper in your site, however, PageRank tends to decline."

Of course the basics as well, site map, good linking structure throughout your site etc. Also with every site I have, I setup a Twitter account. When I make a new page, send out a tweet, instant bots to your page.

I think that you need to optimize your web site in order to have good page rank.. try to search via Google for any info about ways to improve PR.

You could try setting a custom crawl rate in the 'Site configuration'->'Settings' page of Google Webmaster Tools.
